FRI UP
Our mission
Fri Up is the official organization mandated by the canton de Fribourg Its activities focus on supporting start-ups, helping people to create their own businesses and promoting entrepreneurship. Based at the BlueFactory in Fribourg, our association also has permanent offices in Murten and Bulle, as well as a number of ad hoc locations throughout the canton of Fribourg.

Our business coaches come from a wide variety of backgrounds in services and industry, are themselves company founders or start-up specialists, and bring a wealth of experience in all areas of business (business model, financial plan, market development, planning, strategy, operational management, structure and organization, etc.).

Seed Capital Foundation Fribourg
The Seed Capital Fribourg Foundation offers loans of up to CHF 100,000 to support innovative projects and start-ups in the canton of Fribourg. Funding is focused on projects at the pre-seed and seed stages of technical and commercial viability. Fri Up is responsible for the operational management of the foundation and for the files submitted.
Capital Risque Fribourg SA
Capital Risque Fribourg SA offers financing (equity stakes, convertible loans) to companies in the canton that are innovative, have strong growth potential and are in the process of accelerating their development (first sales already achieved).
Promotion économique (PromFR)
PromFR can support innovative projects in the canton through a variety of instruments.

Support for research projects wishing to commercialize their innovation through a start-up.
Tech Transfer HES-SO
Support for research projects wishing to commercialize their innovation as part of a start-up or within a company.
